「We’ve stayed here 8 times during the past 3 years because we love the design and history, but be advised of issues: This is not a 4-star hotel, as advertised. By definition, a 4-star hotel minimally has porters to help with luggage and offers room service. Marcel has neither. The front desk person does his/her best and will help with luggage in a pinch, but we’ve never seen a porter, even when we struggled.
