「After a long, exhausting drive from the East, my family & I arrived in Akureyri around 1:00 am. We were completely exhausted after driving from the South & just ready to get some rest. However, our check-in hit a small bump -- we were given the wrong code to our apartment & couldn’t get in. Thankfully, when I called the staff, he responded quickly & provided a new code. 「Acco guesthouse is a great walkable distance from a handful of dining options and shopping. The room we stayed in was very spacious and the beds were large and comfortable. The bathroom however, was quite tight. The shower ledge takes up a lot of room even though the shower is very small. The ledge also had a decent size chunk out of it which was a big hazard when we had just woken up in the morning and weren’t used to our surroundings. 」
