The property is on the edge of the city at the base of the ski hill. There is no staff on site but responses to emailed questions were quick. It was very peaceful and relaxing.

I loved this hotel!! It was 5 minutes away from the center of town, clean, modern, had a pullout couch and a table for three and a nice balcony. There are fridges in the rooms as well as coffeemaker and safe. I don’t understand the negative reviews. It was a nice basic facility that doesn’t pretend that it’s some luxury hotel. The room and bathrooms are large. There are even hot tubs you can use. Check in was easy via email. Best value for Iceland

Very nice and clean modern rooms. There is self check in and you don’t interact with any staff, which was fine. The bathroom was very clean, the shower was great with variable pressure and very warm. I appreciated they had a hairdryer. The bed was comfortable and there was a smart TV which was nice at the end of the day! There is a small fridge in the room but in the dining area, there is a large fridge and microwave for you to use. There’s even a hot tub. It was the best hotel we’ve stayed at in Iceland.
