「Fabulous house bang in the middle of Axminster. Lived in Axminster for 6 years and knew where this was but not realised the size of the house. Back for the weekend to see friends, etc. This is an exquisite properly. Amazing room and cosy guest lounge so you don’t have to sit on the bed in the room. Great breakfast. Will definitely return 」

「A truly amazing inn in the heart of Somerset. The staff are so lovely helpful and enthusiastic. the food is superb and just in the right quantity to feel full but not over full. Service is excellent and room quality superb. I cant recommend the Cotley inn enough. thank you again for a lovely stay.」

「Our stay at monkton court was exceptional our hosts Steve & Cara couldn’t do enough our breakfast was always bought to us the time we asked and Delicious. Steve’s poached eggs were perfect . The Maple where we stayed was very clean and bed was so comfortable. Would definitely stay again . 」

「The Shepherds hut was just perfect for a relaxing stay, lots of little thoughtful touches such as home made bread, jam and granola. Very peaceful setting, beautiful garden, welcoming hosts. We loved our stay.」

Couple of great recommendations for food. Location is right in the heart of this small town and with pubs and restaurants within a short stroll. Electric charging onsite is a bonus!! 「If you are looking for a vfm option in West Bay this hotel is the place. We had room 7 on the first floor, spacious, whirlpool bath and even a teapot. In our opinion 2 negatives for this room, the mattress was way too soft and the seagulls from 0400hrs, can't really do anything about the 2nd being near the sea!!! The breakfast is quality, great choice and only £10 per day. The hotel is not statebor modern if that is what you are looking for, however the atmosphere and staff make up for it.」
