"What a delightful hotel this is! My teenage son and I stayed here 3 nights to do some exploring and hiking. We got a Jungfrau view with balcony and the view cannot be beat. It was drop dead gorgeous! We enjoyed sitting on the balcony each day after hiking. The double room included a king bed (two twins put together) and updated tasteful bathroom. The room offered all the amenities you could need - toiletries, mini-fridge, cutting board, wine opener and sitting area for late afternoon snacks. ...

"This is a hotel that has not updated its finishes to match the price. Yes, I understand that you are paying for location and view... but its pretty bad folks. You are going to be paying a premium for the following: No air conditioning. No fridge or ice machines. TINY bathrooms and beds. Old and stained carpet. Your view will be amazing, but you will be seeing them from a plastic chair on a thin metal balcony - yep a plastic lawn chair."

"We've stayed here twice, and it's been a wonderful experience each time. The staff are very helpful, the location is perfect, the restaurant is excellent, the view is magnificent...what more can I say? HSW has a quintessential Swiss alpine hotel look and feel. 10/10 would recommend."
