「Felt more like a boarding house than quaint b&b?… and the stairs to rooms are a killer…long steep stairs with a suitcase is difficult and awkward & should be considered by anyone booking there with any sort of disability. Check the street parking bylaws too… I went in off season so apparently wasn’t really checking/ticketing for the hours I was parked near hotel … that crossed some of those paid hours… but paid parking was only option I saw otherwise if parked btw 9-5 pm」

「This was a lovely place to stay. The view is spectacular. We enjoyed the two pools, hot tub & mini putt with our two young children. We also did the oak island boat tour and it was so convenient to board right on property. 」

「I truly believe the staff are not happy with their jobs!. Everyone seemed very unhappy!. No smiles at all.. spoke very sternly. It's very odd to see this behavior in Halifax as EVERYONE we dealt with was over the top friendly.. Even in the big city of Halifax.. The hotel there went above and beyond.. Not so much at the Old Orchard Inn. Check in was with a robot!.. Not a nice person to be checking people in!. The hotel itself was very busy with Children running in the halls all night long....
