"They charged me £35, but when I arrived at the hotel, it was completely closed. The gates were shut, all the doors were locked, and there was no sign of life — no staff, no guests, nothing. I tried to contact the hotel directly but received no helpful response. I then reached out to Expedia customer service, but they refused to issue a refund. "Lovely B&B integrated with nature and operated by a wonderful couple who made us feel very welcome. The building is impressive with historic features intact. Breakfast consisted of bread, baked goods, waffles or pancakes, scrambled eggs, coffee, tea, and juice. The weather prevented us using the pool, but it looked very nice! Enjoyed the stay :)"

"Nous avons passé un excellent moment en compagnie de Lola et de Claude . En leur compagnie nous avons fait une visite très intéressante et très instructive de l'histoire du château et de la région. Notre chambre et la salle de bain étaient très spacieuses et confortables et avaient pour théme Sarah Bernhardt. Au matin une jolie promenade dans le parc très appréciée par notre chienne. Excellent petit déjeuner. Nous reviendrons avec plaisir. "

"The pool is lovely and very clean. I liked the very generous breakfast, especially the homemade yogurt. One does need a car to get to the local places. But the hotel was very comfortable and clean. La piscine est charmante et très propre. J'ai aimé le petit déjeuner très généreux, en particulier le yaourt fait maison. Attention: louer une voiture pour se rendre dans les endroits locaux. Mais l'hôtel était très confortable et propre."
