Family Visit

We stayed in a family room on the last night of our holiday. We found the hotel to be comfortable, clean and well managed. The pool area is small but lovely. The hotel is well positioned in a quiet area of Lourdes and we could walk to restaurants and the Grotto. We would return again in the furure, without hesitation.

For the last 16 years, I’ve stayed at Best Western Beasejour when I do my pilgrimage to Lourdes. It is very convenient as it is right across from the Gare de Lourdes (train station) and only a 15 minute walk to the shrine. It is very clean, comfortable and quiet. It also has the best restaurant in the Haute Pyrenees, Le Parc restaurant. The staff, especially Madam at the front desk is always welcoming and friendly. Whether you are a family with children, friends, pilgrim groups, couples or solo travelers like me, I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a place to stay in Lourdes. It is truly the “Best.”

Very convenient if you want to stay close to the train station. We took the bus to get to Lady of Lourdes church. Staff was helpful and friendly. Our room was clean and good for three people. Enjoyed our stay.

I enjoyed my stay here for the following reasons: Staff members Claudia and Tess made our stay for 3 nites memorable. We had to use an assessable wheel chair that was stored safely every nite. We were greeted friendly every morning and evening, The entire hotel staff were marvelous! I would recommend staying here for your Lourdes experience!!!

The best locality, in front of the railway station Lourdes. Beautiful exterior and interior. On summer beautiful garden. Clean accomodation. Very lovely styled rooms. I would like to stay there again.

There was a fly in our room which was irritating. I was coming down with bronchitis and wanted to isolate myself from other guests. When my husband requested dinner for me to take back to our room he was refused without any real reason given. Incredible view from our room of the mountains with snow covered top.

Property was good but I was not informed how to check in after 11pm when the hotel was close. A Good Samaritan helped us by calling someone in the back in French until we got hold of a staff over the phone.

We absolutely loved our stay at Best Western. The building didn’t look appealing from outside but the inside was beautifully decorated with modern furniture. Our room was one which was renovated - it was so comfortable and spacious. The location is also great - just across the train station and bus stop which services Lourdes. The sanctuary is about 1.5kms away. We were also given a late checkout for free. Overall a great hotel. Nothing to fault. Deserves to be upgraded to a 4star hotel.

You MUST put a comment for two single beds when you book. When you show up they will say they cannot make a double into two singles on demand. They will make you upgrade to a bigger room. I don’t know why. In Ireland the maid can change it in 5 minutes. The rooms are carpeted. The bus to the grotto is across the street. Also the taxi line is across the street at the train station. Very nice breakfast.
