Great choice! I would highly recommend this hotel option for anybody that wants to experience Louisville, from more of a local perspective. This is not your typical touristy spot. This is a great location for assimilating. With the community in the heart of old Louisville and a great district that seems to be thriving in cleanliness and walkable opportunities for people to get from one establishment to another great atmosphere. Love is abounding here

This is by far one of the best hotel experiences I have ever had in my life. I have been traveling around the United States for 30 plus years. And have never had a hotel with a code to get into the room. Instead of a front staff and I feel like this concept is revolutionary. And should be adapted widely amongst hotels in the future. It is a great concept. And i'm thankful for hotel hilo. There are plenty of walking points within very, very close range and a friendly neighborhood.Environment around. This seems to be a hidden gem.Check it out for yourself!

Woke up at 1:30am to a stranger in my room. He had an older access code that still worked. The phone number on Expedia for this hotel is for a random business and not affiliated with the hotel. The 24/7 text line stopped responding after I asked for hotel support/refund. Please do not stay here.

Rooms are in the middle of a nightclub/bar. Loud music blares and people yelling till 3am. Zero parking anywhere near the hotel after 7pm. Rooms were decent but wouldn’t stay on the weekends unless you don’t mind extremely loud music/bass blaring till 3am and having to park blocks away.

Room was clean. Shower pressure was great. Bed comfortable. Close to many spots in the area. Walkable. The only downfall for us was... It’s adjacent to a night club which played music so loudly until about 4am. If we were 20 years younger probably would have been great. But at 50 and driving 6 hours to get there all we wanted was a nice night of sleep.

Room was really clean and cool. Can tell the property is new and there’s nothing wrong with that. Great TV with remote. Nice little balcony area. The music for the bar is loud and runs late but if you’re used to that then you’ll be fine. No mini fridge, coffee maker, or microwave. Those are my only complaints. And it would be cool to have ice available at all times.

This is not a hotel!!!! It is an acceptable hotel room, but: * Nobody works here except cleaning staff. * "Free parking' means free use for the neighborhood, not for you. Good luck finding a spot. * Loudest room you can imagine. If you need a place to park your vehicle and rest overnight, this is not for you. Expedia presents this as a regular hotel and it is not. This hotel is being misrepresented and I want my money back.

The room and property was super cute and clean!! The locks for the doors were not the easiest to work and there was no staff to ask about them. It said there was parking available behind but if you leave once the club in front opens you lose that parking and have to park several blocks away. The club stays open and bumping until about 3-4am and the rooms are essentially part of the club as the yard of the rooms is the club. This makes it very hard to sleep since the rooms are made out of storage containers with not much sound barrier. Perfect place for young club goers to stay but not for those who like to sleep at night. Also, we had people at our front door fighting at about 2am. But like I said to begin with…maybe one of the cutest places I’ve ever stayed.

I really wanted to love this hotel because the location is perfect for me and the price point is exceptional for Louisville. Also, the bed is super comfortable and clean. The major issues I had were the cleanliness of the bathroom (hair and dirt on the floor) and the rug in the room needs to be cleaned or tossed, and there isn't much soundproofing so there was a fair amount of noise through the night. I would definitely not recommend for a weekend night and I'm still on the fence whether I will stay here again.

Our room was clean and vibrant. Love all the fun colors and style. Parking was super convenient and easy. The place is connected to the Atomic Club so you will definitely hear the music outside on the weekends at night. So if you’re there to go out on Bardstown then this place is super convenient. But if you’re looking for something quieter this place probably isn’t for you.

Terrible service! I was told via email that I would receive check in instructions/code to access my room. The day of check in came, no email. I waited until around 6pm and notified both the hotel and expedia, who also sent the hotel an email because they could not reach them either. Never received a response. I was forced to book and pay for a stay elsewhere. No email from them this morning either, then got an email a couple hours ago with a screenshot saying they had emailed the instructions to access the room. Strangely, the email address that they allegedly sent it to was not shown. I received the other emails they sent, so there’s no reason I would not have received this one. Nor did Expedia. Rather than just owning up to making a mistake, they said they reached out with instructions and I was not eligible to receive a refund. Both myself as well as Expedia can attest that this is false. In other words, BEWARE of this place as they have some shady business practices to say the least!
