"It was absolutely “fine”.
Property was clean. Room was spacious and bed comfortable. Breakfast was plentiful and tasty. Location was excellent. Staff was largely absent and satisfactory. It’s not that they were bad, it’s just every where else we stayed in Ireland the staff were superb…friendly, and seem genuinely happy to have tourist business. Overall the Inn was underwhelming for the price. We paid the same amt to stay in a 5 star castle further down the coast and that experience was superb in every regard. Doolin is a fab spot with lots to do. 2 - 3 nights recommended. Farmer Pat Sweeney’s Cliffs of Moher and an afternoon at Inish Oirr are absolute musts!"
"Would have given 5 stars across the board but there was a scaffold right outside our window, despite requesting an ocean view. It isn't really walkable to much, but the onsite restaurant was very good and the view was amazing. There's also a quaint pub contained within the hotel, with an awesome Irish performer the night we were there."
"We asked for a double. It was advertised that it was 279 sq ft. The room we are in is not even close to 279 sq ft. We are being charged $400 per night for a room that is not as advertised. Lots of other issues, like a shower that will flood the bathroom if you don’t block the water with your body at all times. We only see windows from the other rooms 40’ away that look directly into ours even tho our room was advertised as having a city view. Also advertised as having an in room safe-we didn’t have a safe and had to put our valuables in the hotel safe. A shelf jets out on one side of the bed blocking access so you have to crawl across the bed to get into bed (the wall is about 12” from the bed on both sides. No place to put two suitcases except precariously on the desk.
I was told we could not get rebated for not getting the room we were supposed to get, nor moved as you were sold out. They obviously cater to groups because each front desk employee asked if we were with a group and then commiserated with us because we weren’t and, therefore, would not be helped. Also whispered to us that we were unfortunately in room 128. Every employee stated the room sizes are bad. Will never stay in a Dean again. They misrepresent their rooms and charge ridiculously for what you get."
"Very spacious room. Spotlessly clean and well appointed with comfortable king size bed. Free onsight parking and good location made life easier. Great food and service on what turned out to be a very busy Sunday night. Absolutely recommend this facility."
"The room and bathroom were very nice! My friend and my's favorite part was the made to order breakfast which was included in our stay. The location was very nice, but we did not explore much of the town. Close to Doolin and Cliffs of Moher so it was a great stop along the way. Staff were nice and helpful, and the food at the restaurant was great!"
"I booked the hotel more than a month on advance of my stay and after I arrived into Ireland, the Twelve notified me that they overbooked and they couldn't accommodate my booking. They were apologetic and assisted me in finding an alternate hotel but it wasn't something I wanted to experience since I spent a lot of time researching where we wanted to stay. "
