Nice hotel for the price

The hotel was quiet except for the road noise from Ventura blvd but it didn’t wake us . Room was clean. The bed sagged.

Staff was friendly. I had a horrible time sleeping there. Between the noise of Ventura Blvd and people coming and going all night, it was very difficult to sleep. As others have said, the pillows were uncomfortable and the mattress was worn out, although that didn't seem to bother me.

Someone is a great gardener. Very pleasant courtyard. Swimming pool is centrally located, easy access to all rooms. Housekeeping was provided for all 4 nights of our stay.

Worth the stay

It was a lovely motel. The room was clean, there was a small but nice looking pool and pool area (didn’t use). Nice area. Very clean surroundings. I’d definitely stay stay. Breakfast was coffee and a muffin (a good muffin), which isn’t what I prefer, but sometimes it happens.

It is a great property. Some rooms haven't yet been renovated, I do wish there was a bathroom fan, but felt really safe as a woman traveling alone and their security ensured my car was safe too! So clean!

The staff was so very nice and helpful! I’m not sure about the reviews mentioning safety, it’s located in a very safe area, close to a Whole Foods. This is probably one of the cleanest most well maintained places I have ever stayed. Sure it’s older but who cares- it’s clean, quiet and you sleep there. Totally will stay there again!

I liked the price because most hotels in this area are twice as much. It was a no frills hotel with good staff. Any issues they are on top of it. Breakfast was sweet breads or croissants with pretty good coffee. Like I said no frills just good old fashion hard working staff and clean facilities. Thank you!
