This place was a step above Motel 6. It’s old and rusty. There is adequate parking and is in close distance to the airport. The wait to check in was long, due to someone’s room being emptied (for the 2nd time.)

A Good Night's Rest - Great Stay at this Ramada

The Ramada by Wyndham Hawthorne LAX / LA Stadium was remarkably quiet, clean and comfortable. The pool was fabulous and being pet-friendly was a big plus. The only downside was the jacuzzi was closed. The staff was excellent and I recommend this hotel as a good night's stay.

The room was somewhat clean with nice amenities - coffee pot, coffee and tea, hair dryer, iron. Tv not too good. Live termites in between the two window panes crawling and working on the wood and it was easy to see the dark carpet was filthy. The room was priced accordingly.

Why so many bad reviews? Ok, maybe outside it looks bad, but the room was clean, bathroom was clean. No complaints at all. It was cheaper to take an uber from LAX and back, than book a hotel next to the airport. Plus there is Denny’s across the street

The room was relatively clean. There is a need for repair/replacement of simple items like exhaust fan, mirror and sink (which has cracks in it) in the restroom. Renting a room with need of repairs is downright disrespectful.

Location was good, bed was comfy, pillows were great and shower was beautiful! Besides that there was not much else going for this hotel! Housekeeping was atrocious - we stayed for 4 nights and the floors were not cleaned at all! There was a creepy man who sat by the pool without getting in whilst another lady and I were swimming! The common areas were filthy - the car park was scary! There was no breakfast as advertised and no facilities for a cup of tea - coffee yes but not kettle! I would not recommend this place!

The entire property just felt like it was in shambles. I know you get what you pay for, but between the stained bedding and floors, dirty walls with blotchy uneven paint, dinky TVs in the rooms, sketchy elevators that often wouldn’t even respond to the button calls, nonexistent restaurant that Google claims is still open, and extremely limited access to walkable food - I can’t say I could possibly recommend this Ramada. It’s well worth an extra $10-20 per night to stay somewhere that hasn’t been neglected. The staff was friendly enough - I do want to emphasize that this is clearly an ownership/property management issue and not the fault of the front desk or housekeeping staff that I encountered.

I did not enjoy my stay because it was slightly cold weather in Miami when we went on Nov. 28, 2025. So I was trying to heat the room up some. They said they do not have heaters and could give extra blankets. I was devastated by this answer and found the hotel not suitable for habitation. So does no heater system mean no hot water as well because the shower was not getting hot in the shower or sink. I was very disappointed with this stat and would never stay here again. I used the blow dryer to heat up the bathroom while taking that cold shower. I should not have to do that. It was a one night stay before my cruise so I got through the night and was happy to be on the ship. The staff was very friendly and the restaurant on sight was a plus. The room was not comfortable because of no heat or hot water. I left an item in the room and was able to pick it back up after my cruise which I found to be a plus for the staff honesty and effort to make sure I got my item back. The hotel shuttle was sufficient and ran in the manner of every hour on the hour and sometimes it ran every 30 minutes to the airport. They had two shuttles to my knowledge.

The staff members were friendly. The hotel itself is something out of a horror movie. I’ve been a flight attendant for close to 10 years at this point and have stayed in numerous hotels. This particular hotel is by far the absolute worst property that I have ever stayed at. The rooms are dilapidated and rundown, numerous holes in the walls, broken windows, dirty floors, and broken toiletries, dirty mattresses, and mattress covers, the permits have been expired for 23 months at this point, and I actually would not wish that even my worst enemy stayed at this hotel. The smell of the hotel room resembled that of a nasty haunted house. The fire exit doors were left propped open; an apparent invitation for ANYONE to invite themselves in. Horrible experience. The one good thing about it…the roof wasn’t leaking. Beware of this property that goes by multiple different names. As a Wyndham property, there is a certain expectation, which was not met at all.
