The staff is very welcoming and friendly, it is an old hotel, but they’ve tried to maintain it well, but was very comfortable as are the pillows and the bathroom was sparkling clean. Would stay again.
From the employees to the room all was perfect. Clean place, friendly employees , perfect location, we felt like home, even manager were super helpful and friendly.
Great hotel. Very pleasant, historic relevant, my favourite book was written here, great staff, exceptional clean, we loved the wine tasting around 6 pm
We had a very nice stay. Everything was nicely designed, friendly staff and comfortable room. Very easy location to many of the places that interest us. We are looking to book again our next trip.
The entire staff was extremely helpful! Special shout-out to CJ, who checked us in and let us know we had credit for a room upgrade.
The place is well maintained and, as I learned from CJ, historically significant. Beautiful place.
I am a professor, and this is a mecca for writers and everyone who appreciates excellent staff and beautiful surroundings.
I had the best experience at Hotel Normandie while staying in LA. The staff was very knowledgable and helpful. The room was immaculate and very clean when I checked in. The location of the hotel within Koreatown was very nice. I was able to walk a lot and explore. I will definitely stay here when I come back to LA.
Very clean, comfortable, and well decorated hotel. The bed and blackout curtains made sleeping here so comfortable. One thing to note that I didn’t pay attention to when booking, the parking lot is diagonally across the hotel and it was $50.
The staff were amazing and super helpful. Whenever I needed something, they were quick to help. Loved the wine reception every night. Such a nice touch! The rooms could use updating. The blackout curtains didn't close all the way so had a bit of trouble sleeping. But still, a good stay.
Pros: This is a cool old building. The real wood floors and antique vibe is amazing. The restaurant attached is very good.
Cons: If you have a room by the street, it’s sleep prohibiting noisy. For us, the mattress was a little too indented on both sides and felt like it needed to be replaced.
Beautiful historic property. The staff was wonderful. And the on property restaurant, Cassell’s, was our go-to for breakfast, lunch and after hours drinks.
