Decent hotel, comfortable for short term stay, close to a lot of places to eat and starbucks across the street. Free breakfast and happy hour drinks are a plus. Parking felt secure however, I don't recall the booking page stating parking is $12 a day. Elevators were slow and walls are thin can hear people walking/talking from around and above.

The location of this hotel is great. There are many walking options for dinner and coffee. The indoor restaurant was over priced and not many options so it was good to be able to walk when needed. It had a great layout inside and had a classy vibe. The front desk employees were very friendly and informative. They did a great job! The pool was also great, it is indoors so even with the outside weather too cold for swimming our kids were able to swim for awhile and loved it. However, as some of the other reviews stated it does get too hot in the rooms. They are not controlled individually even though the room has its own thermostat, we were told it does not actually work. It was too warm in our room to be comfortable so at night we had to open a window and close the curtains to keep cool. They have free breakfast each morning and that was great and the staff there were also very friendly. At night they have happy hour at the bar with two free drinks for each adult. Very cool idea and they had snacks so the kids could also join if needed. The bar tender however we felt was very rude and not friendly at all. We were tipping for drinks and even ordered additional drinks after those were finished. It was very un welcoming and uncomfortable so for that reason we would not stay here again. We were in town for a social event and since being at the bar area was such a big part of our stay that was very disappointing.

We were there for the weekend. The staff was great and breakfast was delicious. The property itself was clean but it is older. I’m giving it a 4 because our room had a weird smell.

If you require a cool room to sleep at night, please do not stay at this Embassy suites. The facility was built in the 80s and when evening comes, the air conditioning goes off and you can only get heat. It was probably 80° in our room and the only way we could cool off was to open an unscreened window and open the door to the hallway, so that the breeze could blow through. The girl at the desk claimed there were no mosquitoes in the area when we told her we couldn’t leave the window open. That was untrue as LA was experiencing mosquito swarms from the spring rains. Also, there was no security if the window was left open. We left a day early, after tossing and turning all night. On the plus side, they reinstated their wonderful breakfast with fresh made to order omelettes., And their manager was very responsive to our issue the next morning and allowed us to check out without penalty. Expedia was fantastic in helping us resolve this. We spoke to Otto, who contacted the manager and worked out our refund for the second night when we checked out. I would definitely use Expedia again, because their customers service is wonderful.

Embassy Suites are always beautiful. It is a treat to stay here. We enjoy the extra perks, snacks and a drink in the early evening in addition to their good breakfasts. Very nice.

This was a well taken care of hotel. And it is a fabulous room for the price and area. Breakfast was amazing!! Yet the staff was the best - they were helpful & kind.

We have to wait for almost 2 hours to get the room. And then the room is not our expectation. If they gave us when we arrived, the room must be better. When we asked for the room change, they said that the change cannot be done due to making reservation through Expedia. Is that right?

i would have given a 5 star rating because i like the place. But the problem is I can smell weeds/marijuana in the exhaust which makes me nauseous and it happens in the middle of the night. Shouldn't be the room non smoking?it seems like other rooms are smoking weeds and the smell reach our exhaust.

The staff was really rude from the front desk staff to the chef making the omelets and the breakfast staff was especially rude. I stayed here last year and it was so nice real clean and the staff was great but this year it was dirty and the staff was horrible! Don’t stay here if you can help it. The only good staff I encountered was Melissa and Jordan or Jared I can’t remember his name. Also housekeepers would get mad if you asked for stay over service!

We stayed for a night since we went to Universal Studious. Close to restaurants and shopping. It was a 30 min drive to universal.

This hotel has horrible AC if any at all. It was overly hot and we had to go buy fans to try and deal with it. I called and complained multiple times and they said open the window. I’ve never had such an experience at a hotel. The breakfast staff was great but overwhelmed. The property was outdated and in need of upgrades. I would not recommend this hotel for anyone that can’t stand the heat.

The Happy Hour from 5:30-7:00 pm and the Made-to-Order breakfast, puts this hotel apart from the rest. It’s centralized location, close to everything, its also a big plus!

This property is infested with bed bugs crawling on the pillow in middle of night all hotel did was move us to another room without even I'm sorry this happened but it's because it obviously has been happening for a very long time they told me they would comp the room which I payed insurance for and they have refused to actually refund the money. Horrible disgusting place

The property itself was pretty nice. But our room was awful. It smelled so bad, the carpet was filthy and you can feel the springs on the mattress because they’re so old. I would never come back.

The Embassy suites is always a good choice. Nice, clean spacious rooms. My only complaint was we were denied a late checkout and also, the breakfast food was cold. Other than that it was great!
