"Room was clean. AC was nice. Staff were pretty chill. Pool was cold though and that sucked, because we wanted to swim :) But the 2yrs old, elderly lady and autistic brother I was traveling with couldn’t enjoy that temperature unfortunately. So there was no swimming for us! Very disappointed at that. Location was nice. Really disappointed with the hotel “restaurants” menu. Had a huge family lunch after church for our family reunion. Thinking the hotel would have a good selection when booking the hotel in advance, only to be disappointed and embarrassed that my family didn’t have a better choice of food. We could have gone somewhere else but oh well. Everyone was already there. And we are talking about nearly 25 people that showed. So it wasn’t like we can just go somewhere else, we kind of had to deal with it."
"We were sailing to Hawaii and we stayed here the night before our trip and it was convenient to get to the port and had transportation to port for us. We loved our room it was very nice"
"I left and did not stay at this hotel because it seemed dirty, run-down, old, and unsafe. The carpets in the hallways were very dirty. The room has a musty stench. It was so close to the freeway that I could hear all the traffic inside my room. It did not look nice from the outside. It should have been priced much lower."
"Very well appointed hotel, beautiful lobby and rooftop bar and pool. Staff is excellent, very helpful. Our room was nice, but the window sills, blinds, and bedside table surfaces were very dusty. Even when they came and made the bed and refreshed towels, they never dusted any surfaces. Weird. Good location for downtown LA, still a major homeless problem. Expect to see a lot of rundown areas
There’s a Whole Foods next door, a Starbucks, and sweetgreen on the same street as well. We stayed 5 nights and used the valet for our car- in and out no problem, prompt service. The valet guys were great.
Also a unique store connected to the lobby selling tote bags, shirts, sweatshirts and the like with a cool movie and tv series quotes theme “These gays. They’re trying to kill me” I’d recommend!"
