"We have stayed at this beautiful hotel many times and keep going back. The garden grounds make a beautiful setting and it is a pleasure to walk there. The building itself is a period country house, with many original features. Our room was very spacious and comfortable, although perhaps a little refurbishment is needed. The staff were friendly and efficient. We did not have dinner, but the buffet breakfast was excellent. We will certainly be back."

"Check-in was quick and easy and the room was clean. Good water pressure in the shower. It's a bit of a maze and there's several buildings so they showed me mine. Breakfast was good, but the first day the buffet coffee was very watered down and weak. Air-conditioning didn't go below 20 on the cool setting, but it was fine for me. You have to request crockery from reception as there is nonebin the kitchen from the start. Be aware that because the site does have some upgrade work happening some of the footpaths aren't as shown on Google maps, this meant I was walking around a bit lost on property. I did ask for confirmation for two different stops on two occasions from different employers and was assured the stops were in the direction indicated only to find they weren't. The buses were a mix of convenient and not, unsure if there's less services because it wasn't term time or not."

"We received a very warm welcome when we arrived at the hotel and the receptionist was very friendly and helpful. The room we were allocated was great with a superb view of the first tee and 18th green. The restaurant and bar service were very good. The dined in the hotel restaurant in the evening and for breakfast and the food was excellent and the breakfast choice was equally as good. Overall...we shall be back!"

"We stayed here as a night stop over. It was perfect for that, with the owners going above and beyond to ensuring we got our breakfast early so we could get away early. The room was clean and well provided for with the usual towels, soap, shower gel, TV, hairdryer, kettle and teas and coffee. I would be happy to stay here again as a stopover. We arrived around 9pm and went for a nice walk around the town which seemed to have lots of interlinked paths through the streets and trees. The owners were lovely and chatty and I'd be happy to stay here again. Thank you for a pleasant stay."
