Everything we needed for our trip was right there.. fishing bait, the ocean front property at the motel and fishing bridge a walks distance across the road. The Lick It food shack offers a great variety and the bbq is delicious (they will also cook your catch). We did not use the pool, but many were and it was clean and inviting as well. Wonderful staff that was very pleasant and welcoming. Walk out on the piers and see fish. Gorgeous sunset views. Already planning our next trip.

The room we booked supposedly had a deck on the water and a full kitchen. I even confirmed this by phone! Come to find out there was no kitchen. We had food in a cooler so we took a different room not on the water that had a "full kitchen". There was practically nothing to cook with, not even any hangers to hang clothes. Actually there wasn't even a closet as such, just a little alcove with a wire shelf. Our drapery rod was coming out of the wall and were dragging. Our view was a noisy corn hole game and patio tables. The furniture looked like thrift store rejects.

The room was clean and new, the property all around was a tropical vibe and the view of the water was spectacular. LICK IT had the best food and ice cream, we'll be back for sure!

I like the location and a very charming character of the hotel. Two small things on the negative side: 1) I had to call to get WiFi pass. (the office was already closed). 2) A note in the bathroom asks us not to throw toilet paper into the toilet, but into a basket (very unpleasent scenario).
