Very good choice of accommodation
The accommodation was great - spacious, comfortable and well equipped. Handy location - surprisingly easy walk to important sights. Most importantly I can't say enough about how friendly and helpful the staff are. Very responsive, engaged and caring. Travellers do need to be prepared for noise though, street noise can be loud but diminishes after 9pm. The internal walls and floors are not insulated at all and noise between apartments can be loud although the other residents were generally quiet.

Clean & comfortable albeit noisy
Spacious, clean, comfortable and well equipped. Very thin walls/ceilings/flooring meant I could hear neighbours clearly and creaking floor boards from above kept waking me. Otherwise a pleasant stay and well located.

Not terrible but definitely not the Hilton either.
The room itself wasn’t bad but walls are extremely thin, you can literally hear every footstep in the room above you. Bed was very uncomfortable. WiFi stopped working the next day.

Great stay at SHQ
The office team were very helpful and informative. They let us know about local shops and restaurants and gave us a folder with lots of local info. Apartment was clean, well equipped and very secure. A great stay.

Comfortable appartment in Aldgate East
Return visit after several comfortable stays in the past few years. The appartment (No. 3) I stayed in this time was around the corner of the building, so there was a lot less noise from the busy Commercial Road in front of the building. The appartment was a tad smaller than other appartments I've stayed in, but just as comfortable and large enough for 1-2 people. The walls and floors are thin, so there can be noise from adjoining appartments.

Perfect for me when I’m working in London. They can be quite noisy with road and other guests coming in/out but when it’s only for a night it doesn’t bother me. The team are always really accommodating in terms of check in/out

The apartment was generally clean and well stocked with the exception of milk. Really frustrating to arrive after hours of travel however, luckily their is an off licenese across the road

Noisy but otherwise great
Okay so it was next to a busy road and we could hear movement from the people in the apartment above. Once you get over that the location for us was good with the tube only minutes away with a choice of 3 supermarkets within a 5 minute walk plus other amenities. We arrived a little early but fortunately everything was ready for us and we could check in. The apartment itself was a little tired but served us fine. The space inside was great with everything we needed to fend for ourselves. We were also able to leave our luggage after we had checked out, as we weren't leaving london until later in the day, which was great.

Great little apartment, well located just 3 minutes walk from Aldgate East Underground. The aprtment is clean and tidy and perfect for that central London meeting/stay. Shower needs a bit of WD40 - difficult to turn on and you are right on Commercial Road so yes you can hear the sirens! I would defintely stay again.

This apartment has a good location, but the bed was hard and not very comfortable. The washer/dryer combination was nice to use. The price is pretty affordable, but I'll pay more money for something nicer next time.

Decent enough, bad for long periods.
The apartment was good, clean 3 rooms - bathroom - bedroom & kitchenette/lounge. The lounge was good and spacious and the bathroom was great. The problem was the road noise from the very busy commercial road outside and that the way the apartments are formulated that some have their bedroom window facing the staircase where people congregate and/or smoke. I'd stay there again for a short business trip, but don't expect to sleep well!

Needs some TLC
The flat needs a lot of maintenance, mould in the bathroom, and the bathroom was not a level of cleanliness that I would expect. Even after management sent a cleaner in to address it was still dirty looking from neglect. Cigarette burns on the sofa meant it scratched you when you sat on it. Kitchen was so small you struggled to open the oven door and get food out of the hot oven.

This is a student accommodation!
Not good. The neighbourhood is not good, a bit scary in fact. It gets vey noisy at nights filled with drunk ppl who break glasses and bottles and start screaming in the middle of night. So not a family friendly place at all. The bed is extremely uncomfortable, to the point we switched to sleeping on the couch. Overall not recommended.

Made our weekend even better
Staff member was very friendly on arrival.. quick tour of the apartment and gave us all the info we needed to know about the area in their booklet. They even let us have a later check out as our travel back home wasn’t until 7pm which really helped us and was a lovely gesture from them. If I ever need to go back to this area I would 100% return to here :)

We were very happy staying in this apartment. It was good to know that there was an office on site staffed during office hours. Actually nothing was wrong so we didn't need to use the office. It was nice to have a sitting area separate from the bedroom. The kitchen was small but there was a good range of kitchen items including a dishwasher and washing machine though we didn't use either. The bed was comfortable, the towels fluffy, there was spare toilet roll, and a hairdryer and ironing board were provided- excellent! It was walking distance from Aldgate East tube station and there were a range of supermarkets and bars and restaurants all close by. The road noise too was much less than we had anticipated. Happy

This apartment was perfect! I was traveling here with a friend that had to work during the day. This was close to the Tower of London and I was able to cook breakfast, saving money. The apartment was large for London with a great modern shower and comfy bed! I would stay here again and again! Highly recommended!!

Excellent, well-appointed apartment
I wanted somewhere close to Tower Hill as I was at a 2-day conference based in an extremely expensive hotel that I wasn't prepared to pay for! This apartment is fantastic! It looked like it was brand new! I was shown around including how to get through the security gates (which made me feel very safe) and they helped me with my bags up the stairs. Well appointed kitchen, comfy sofa, wifi, digital TV, decent size bathroom with large shower cubicle, separate bedroom with full-size wardrobe. Handy supermarket across the road. I would definitely stay here again and would choose to stay here if I fancied a couple of days sightseeing around London.

I would not stay there again.
Mix up at check in. Although notified well in advance the office was closed and nobody answered the phone. A terrible experience. Other than that : 1. we had the same towels for the whole stay 5 nights..... 2. No cleaning service at all. 3. Wi fi not working. 4. Staff really non existent. 5. No air conditioning at all, only a broken fan and that was during the heat wave.... 6. We had to walk around the corner to throw our garbage every day .... Definitely not for me although the apartment itself was ok I would never stay there again.

We only service stays over 7 nights. However we do get request from guests to freshen towels and linen and we have provided this free of charge. 2. Please refer to first point. 3. We have all contact details displayed over the apartment as well as our office in the basement of the same building. Next time please do let us know and we can check the Wifi. 4. We don't have any air conditioning as advertised. During the heatwave we provided additional fans for guests. 5. A very house and hot ap
The apartment and the master bedroom are just right beside a road with heavy traffic so it is VERY NOISY throughout the day. Unfortunately there is no air-conditioning so I need to open the window in the master bedroom which is just 50 metres above the heavy traffic to get a bit ventilatment. It has been so noisy and so hot inside this aparrment in early July and my family really didn't want to stay in the apartment throughout the day. The WiFi here is also very slow and has been disconnecting at times. The neighborhood has many homeless and beggars (I saw 2 right at the entrance of this apartment)

Wonderful location for hipster London. The apartment fit the description. The only problem was that it was on a major street (Commercial) and it was not air conditioned (Like much of London.) Noisy.

Great location
Nice large apartment in an up and coming area. Staff excellent. Exactly what I wanted for a 3 week stay.

Hot and loud...
Friendly staff, helpful as possible, but no a/c and right on a very busy street, so sleeping was minimal.. too hot, windows open, noisy and bright. Unfortunately I need it dark and quiet and preferably cooler to sleep... made love mg days in London dragging from lack of sleep. Neighborhood was questionable... when coming and going at night we were offered drugs by someone who appeared to be using drugs... not a warm fuzzy there... I won’t be back. Very clean.. & friendly staff

The immediate neighbourhood is the city which is very desirable to many. This is noted by the numerous restaurants, well known cafes and hotels that have opened in recent months. Also we are located withing minutes walking distance to one of London's famous sights; The Tower of London. We do hope you can come back some time to experience this city and SHQ.
