Nice hotel, a bit uptight staff, no breakfast option from the menu. Just 2 min walk from the tube station....and just 1 stop away from The Tower of London and 2 stops away from Monument.....great location....waling distance from Amazon fresh store.
Felt safe around property at night. The only complaint I have is the terrible lighting by every single mirror in the room. As someone who likes doing my makeup this is a big deal for me.
Pro: It was close to the underground.
Con: I felt some of the staff felt bothered by me asking questions or for help. The fridge in the room did not cool drinks. One of the beds did not have usb power nearby.
The hotel is very nice, rooms are great and modern. Good location as its very close to underground station but also walkable to a number of places to visit in the area.
The gym unfortunately had no water and room pillows were a little uncomfortable.
Staff very helpful during our stay.
It is a nice hotel in the Citi, with a pleasant staff, and a good breakfast with excellent coffee.
The room itself was a bit weird though - it felt cramped despite having 30 sq. m of space, with unpredictable light switches and a lack of shelves.
Great location, right next to a train station, bus stop. Great dining options around easy to get around only con is there was construction going on right in front of the hotel, but otherwise it was great.
Excellent hotel, friendly staff, rooms were clean, bed comfortable. Its near anunderground and about 15 minutes from old Spitalfields market. Alot of building work around hotel but didn't really impact the stay.
This Hotel is in a good building, is clean and conveniently located if you go to London's Business district. Rooms are ok and beds are good. The most impressive aspect of this hotel, besides it's security, was the staff and specially Carlos at the front desk, they know how to treat a guess.
We really enjoyed our 2 night stay at Clayton Hotel. The hotel was in a quiet location & well designed so we were not kept awake by noise. The breakfast was good quality with lots of choice. Staff were friendly & helpful at all times. The room was comfortable & had everything we needed.
Right next to the subway extremely convenient. Customer service was amazing very friendly, very hospitable, very informative, and all together welcoming. Help me to my room with my 3 suitcases didn’t have to ask. Love the fact they have a really good gym and breakfast is all you can eat and pretty good quality. Anytime I come back to London I’ll be staying here!
Had an exceptional stay at the Clayton. Me and my friend stayed Friday-Sunday and both absolutely loved the hotel. The design was very modern, warm and comfortable. The staff were all lovely and there to help with anything we needed. Would 100% recommend and I will definitely personally return to stay on my next trip to London.
Thank you for a lovely stay. Hotel was clean, comfortable and modern. The staff were pleasant and helpful and breakfast was full of variety and tasted delicious.
Great place to stay. Accommodations really clean and new. Surrounding areas had plenty restaurants to walk to. More of a hub than a central spot, but most within walking distance.
Very nice hotel in a good location. Room was lovely. Could do with a few more hooks in the bathroom and in the room but otherwise very nice. We arrived early but we were allocated a room and were upgraded to an executive double. When we asked later for bathrobes , the man on the desk said we didn't have them in the room as it was an upgrade and when I asked if we could have 2 anyway he said 'no, they were limited' ! so I asked a different person on Reception later in the day and they sent 2 robes up straight away - so not sure what the upgrade issue was about!

The property was nicely located near Tower Bridge and The Tower of London, also near the underground. The hotel itself was modern but had issues with the room. The dribk cooler/fridge didn't work on arrival and even though notifying the front desk twice it was never fixed. The room had astrange hanging barn style metal and glass bathroom door right off the bedroom which was not practical or private and was extremely hard to move open or closed as well asnit made a loud screeching noise when it was moved, which was annoying if anyone went to the bathroom in the middle of the night. Again the front desk was notified and followed up on and nothing was done. The corporate office was also sent a message about these issues and did not respond either, so the lack of customer service seems to come from the top.
We loved our stay at the Clayton hotel. The hotel staff is so sweet and caring. Greeting us and ensuring our stay was well everytime wr entered lf left. They did not hesitate at all to accommodate a family member's need to keep their medications cold. The rooms are nice, modern and the entire hotel is immaculatly clean. They have a spectacular gym in their basement with water bottles and towels at the ready. They are suoer close to numerous restraunts and the London tube Aldgate Station. If ever in London again, this is for sure where we will be staying.
