Good location. Many restaurants, shops, and transportation nearby. 3 blocks from Kensington Park. Staff was helpful and responsive. However, hotel needs updating. 2 or 3 buildings are connected and you must walk up and down steps to get from lobby to rooms. Carpet in halls and rooms is warn and soiled.

Overall had a great stay! The staff was kind and helpful and there was an elevator that was helpful in moving luggage. I will note that there was no air conditioning or fan in our room, so if you stay here in the summer be aware of higher temperatures in the room.

Great location but needs upgrading. Decor tatty but room clean with immaculate bedding and towels. No plug in sink. Took £50 security charge on arrival but gave it back without checking the room on departure

We dropped our bags off in the morning. When we checked in at night one bag was missing/not in the baggage holding area. It was shortly after delivered to our room. It was apparently stored in the office instead of the baggage holding area. VERY STRESSFUL! Room was fine, clean, good facilities. I also got charged at check-in time, whilst I already had paid via the website. Currently waiting for my second payment to return in my bank account…

Late arrival by my 22 year old daughter. Told the room she booked don’t exist and tried to get more money for the room. Put in dodgy single room with such noisy pipes she has to ask to move. Put in dingy smelly basement room. Absolutely no go to this hotel. Reception rude and disrespectful

The location of the hotel is excellent. I was very dissatisfied with the lack of privacy resulting from the lack of sound insulation between adjacent rooms. A letter spelling out this issue is being sent to the hotel manager.

We booked seven rooms in total. Half of the rooms had a problem of some sort. Problems ranged from no blinds or curtains, hand railing in the restrooms being loose, sinks being plugged, lack of towels for multiple people, inconsistent house cleaning.

Varied quality but a cheap and ok stay

Very varied quality of the rooms. Some excellent, others with low water pressure, holes in the wardrobe, loose wallpaper, broken lights and noise from other rooms. Great staff though and still a nice stay at a low price for London.

Friendly staff, room was small considering it was supposedly a deluxe room. Very hot in the room, unable to switch off radiator properly. Opened the curtains to get to the window and as the room was in the basement it had bars on the windows making it feel like a prison cell! Good location, easy for travel around London and plenty of eateries.
