"Lovely quiet villa. Sadly there was a fair bit of maintenance required to get this property up to a good standard, such as decking boards broken and lifted, stairs chipped and splinters hanging out. We were also disappointed in the lack of communication by staff. We found them to be very reserved. On trips on the free shuttle to coco mart, the driver didn’t say a word to us. "Beautiful authentic Balinese villa. The resort itself was beautiful was very unexpected as I don't think there are many pictures of it. Bed was big and comfortable and had a mosquito net around it which was useful. All the amenities were functioning and clean, and the outside bathroom was lovely. "Paradise retreat after busier areas of Bali. It feels like a grand hotel of old with Incredible views, amazing staff - in particular ‘Goose’ provided our table with an absolutely 5 star dinner service. Good selection of food and wine. Spa service was terrific. A real highlight for us was doing the bicycle tour organized by the hotel with the wonderful Resa through the historical town and nearby rice fields. Such an authentic adventure. A very special place! Amazing value."
