"The staff were so wonderful. So friendly and attentive. The rooms were spotless, bed was very comfortable and my husband and I fought over the hammock on the balcony. Pool area is super chill, great place to relax and read a book. The hotel is about a 10 minute walk into town, but these walks through the streets or the beach were one of our fave parts of the day. The food is phenomenal. So fresh! Between the two of us we had almost everything on the menu and it was all 10/10. The Mutua breakfast was our fave. San Pancho is a small chill town. Perfect slice of paradise to disconnect, enjoy nature, and eat all the amazing food. Would definitely come back! Thank you! "

"Loved my stay at Marakame. The room was big and nicely decorated. The bed was very comfortable with lots of pillows. Housekeeping did a great job and everything was very clean. The front desk staff we are all incredible and super accommodating. I loved the pool and the hotel overall had a chill vibe. I also really liked the location as it was in a quiet area but not a far walk to everything. Would highly recommend. "

"This property was amazing. The pool is perched on the side of a cliff overlooking the Pacific Ocean. Sunsets from the living room and pool deck are just spectacular. You can hear the waves from the primary suite all night long. Guest bedrooms were large and had nice attached bathrooms, but don't have much of a view. The air conditioning throughout the property worked extremely well. The main level living area had large pocket doors that could completely open the room up to the pool deck, which was very nice in the morning when it was cool. The kitchen is well equipped and had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. With the rate that we booked, breakfast was included each day. That was a major perk, as it was delivered to our room around 9:30 AM each day and was delicious. There is a private beach that we could see from our pool and there are stairs to get down to the beach. I am in relatively good shape, and the stairs were not an issue for us to go up or down. The waves were huge when we visited, so we did not swim in the ocean. If you are a very experienced ocean swimmer, then I think you would certainly swim on the beach, but I wouldn't do it with the waves as large as they were when we visited. The beach was still great to walk on and splash in the water. It was easy to communicate with the property via WhatsApp for questions about our stay. The on-site staff, Layf, Anna & Luis were extremely helpful. We will stay again when visiting lovely San Pancho."
