「The breakfast was good, both choice and quality. The staff were very friendly and helpful. It appears that they welcome dogs in some rooms. My room was clean and the bed was comfy. There wasn't any parking at the premises, but I was able to find an on street space relatively nearby.」

「It was very good value and in a very beautiful area. The maintenance of the building was outstanding. No lift and, at 80, I found that a bit of a struggle. But will return - and breakfast was good value.」

「Good location in beautiful scenery not far from some walks. On a main road but it was completely silent at night. Suite was lovely and bigger than expected, with beautiful views, and a very modern bathroom with a fab shower. The bed did have a weird slope to it though which put our feet higher than our heads! Food in the pub at dinner time was expensive and average, although breakfast was plentiful and good quality. Enjoyed our stay very much. 」

「My wife and I both agreed that the overnight stay we had there was very good, everything you could have wanted was there, the bed was lovely and the room was spot on. The next morning we went down to the restuarant and to an excellent breakfast. All in all we would have no hesitation in staying there again.」

「Such a unique property. We stayed in the room that Queen Victoria stayed in, and slept in the original bed, they also have the original 7 foot bathtub - best bath ever. The staff were so attentive.」

「Second time we've stayed here and won't be out last. Plenty of space with large kitchen and living area, comfy beds and lovely little touches like biscuits, milk, coffee pods for the Nespresso machine and even a bottle of wine in the fridge. Perfect spot for Bala and exploring the surrounding area. Definitely recommended」

「Avoid at all costs, we arrive and left refusing to stay. "Glamping pod" was in a terrible condition, hardly cleaned and falling to bits. No towels provide, bed was unmade on arrival, hot tub was not cleaned let alone heated for arrival. Was definitely not as advertised, a break to relax and recharge. Shocked Expedia continue to list.」

「The room was clean. There was plenty of space. Only thing is the TV signal was not working but this could have been easily due to the massive thunderstorm we were having at the time which was far more beautiful to watch. I would definitely stay here again. Definitely value for money.」

「It is a lovingly extended stone cottage between a fast moving stream with a view and a country road. A very well equipped home from home , a perfect base for up to 4 ppl to explore the area. The owner is very responsive, and found her more reliable than the company managing the property.the 」
