「Great stay」

「Lovely property, very comfortable and well equipped. Nice chill out areas after days walk. Only problem was not being to use the garden terrace as it didn't stop raining. Handy for Snowdon, and the Sherpa bus route」

「Hotel is in a good location, ample parking. It's a stately building fairly well maintained, though the elevator access on floor 1 is hindered by the carpeting that restricts the door from opening. Yes you have to manually open the door to access the 50 + year old elevator and make sure it doesnt swallow any body part when the door closes, very cool. The food in the attached restaurant/ pub was good, though the service was hindered by only 1 person doing everything, hotel check in and restaurant...

「Great stay! Could t fault the accommodation at all! 5 min drive from zip world, host left some extras for us, tea coffee sugar milk bottle of bubbly and some chocolates and shortbread! Excellent touch! Some nice walks nearby weather your a novice or a professional hiker something for everyone! Will definitely stay again! I’d recommend bringing some shopping with you, as the nearest shop is around a 30 minute walk away, however if you don’t mind driving it’s only 5/10 mins down the road to the...

「Generally the property was nice, however having stayed at similar properties over the years, I think there were a few things which could be improved. These are personal preferences but I think its the smaller touches which make all the difference. For example, it would have been nice if guests were given bath towels rather than the smaller sized towels, with spares available at the property. As the property had a hot tub, robes would have been nice. The tea and coffee selection was very basic....

「Lovely property in stunning location with lovely touches-Prosecco, cake, “emergency meal”, etc My only problem was in terms of getting information about access/key. I think this was because I booked through Hotels.com and the property is principally let through Sykes Cottages so I don’t think anyone would have sent me access information if I hadn’t badgered! Once I got the information it was very straightforward.」

「Sue and Mike were the perfect hosts from the minute we stepped into their amazing home Our room was so comfortable and cosy and we had everything we needed for a perfect stay In the morning we had a wonderful breakfast prepared by Mike and we all had a good chat over the breakfast table Nothing was too much trouble for Sue and Mike and I’m so excited to be going back in a few weeks See you soon x」
