"We were upgraded to a Presidential Suite for my 80th birthday which was very much appreciated. Reception and dining room staff were very efficient and doormen who advised us on were certain shops we wanted to visit were very friendly and helpful. In the restaurant you were shown to a table, given a menu and served at your table. Service and food was excellent. We enjoyed our stay there and hope to go back in the near future"

"Always like this hotel - and the staff have always been helpful. When i requested a quiet room they moved me to a room overlooking the garden area . All good, clean and comfy, complimentary water etc. They seem to have removed real ales from the bar which is a shame - although fantastic bar opposite in the station so not a biggy!"

Village Hotel Wirral

8/10 Good
"We like staying at Village, the staff here were really helpful and friendly. The pool and facilities were excellent and kept spotless. The food was good and served quickly by staff happy to go the extra mile. Just small niggles prevented me from going 5star, a used towel left in my room, the sink plug didn't operate smoothly, the coffee machine wouldn't deliver coffee. A real shame...even so we'll probably go back in the future."
