What we expected after reading the reviews. We needed a place to stay for two days of hiking and the pool was a bonus. The jacuzzi isn’t warm enough and most of the jets don’t work. Spectacular views. Clean, charming cabin, tiny but cosy and fully equipped. Welcome gifts, easy communication with lovely landlady Sarah, privacy, peaceful and serene. Hot tub was a huge bonus. Garden with furniture and bbq. Pristinely clean and safe for our small dog. Will be back.

Lovely one night weekend getaway, rooms were immaculate. Food at the Pen Y Cae inn was amazing, staff were friendly and welcoming. The little zoo they have on the back of the property was a added highlight to our stay and enjoyed walking around looking at the animals and birds.
