The Epic Hotel Apartments were not really an epic place to stay. Good points: first, the bed was comfy, and the air con is a great plus with the lovely weather we have been having. The hotel's location was amazing, with a 5-minute walk to the docks, a 5-minute walk to the town centre, and a 1-minute walk to some lovely restaurants and bars. Now to the not so good point the room would benefit from a full refurbishment, there was paint missing from the walls wholes in the plastering. There curtains slider was broken, so a portion of the window was left uncovered so the moring like lite the room up there was very little storage for your clothes. There is no bin in the room for any rubbish so had to take it to the bin on the street. Only one side table but sockets on both sides of the bed. The room would have benefited from having a mini fridge and the cost of the of street parking right next the the hotel charges you £25 a day if you pay by card or £20 a day if you pay cash but after paying for our parking I then found a lot of street parking with in 5 mins walk of the hotel's location. But the one next to the hotel has 24hr security

I’ve stayed at various Epic properties in Liverpool and this was by far the worst one, the walls were chipped and the windows didn’t open. This was a surprise as all the other properties are very well maintained

2 small problems on arrival, code to get in the door didn’t work and there was a leak in the bathroom ceiling. Staff came promptly to assess the situation and did everything to help, even as far as to offer to swap rooms. Could not fault staff at all, very helpful young man. Comfortable modern room, although toilets roll holder and lamps were on the verge of falling off, there was a loud banging for 30-45 mins ish at early hours and there was a big wet patch in the kitchen when we arrived. But for a short trip for comfort and the cheap price also close by everything, I would stay again.

No teabags in the room. Coffee milk and sugar yes but no teabags. Fortunately there's a shop across the road. If you have a roadside apartment it can be a little noisy through the night with late night revellers passing below

There is no staff working on the premises. They gave a code to access the building, but it did not work when I first arrived at the property and on the second day. They don't answer the phone number provided. They did not reply to text messages either, but showed up 30-45 minutes later, just when I was about to pay for an alternative hotel through a third party.
