The room was old, stains on carpets and absolutely freezing cold. We had nowhere to hang our clothes at the wardrobe was 3 shelves with tea/coffee facilities inside, an iron, kettle and spare towels. One coat hanger on the top. Breakfast was cold but was better the next day. Staff were friendly and welcoming. The hotel is 5 minutes walk from the shops.

Wonderful room that looked just like the pictures in their description. Super friendly and helpful staff. Excellent breakfast buffet. A long walk to the waterfront but enjoyable on a good day. Very close to historical buildings and an excellent "Ask Italian" restaurant across the street that caters to Celiac/Gluten Free. Would stay here again.

It is well-placed for easy access to the Liverpool shopping and theatre area with excellent transport links. The property is dated and needs a bit of an update to the room and general areas, but clean and comfy rooms with an excellent choice of quality produce at breakfast.

A great place to stay, a short distance from the train station and very close to Matthew Street. We had a big room, with three kingsize beds for the three of us and a lovely big jacuzzi bath with shower over, the air con was very welcome as we had hot weather while we stayed. The staff were friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was really good with plenty of choice. Although we were close to Matthew Street the hotel was really quiet and we all had a good nights sleep.My only criticism is that the rooms were very dark. We would definitely stay again.

Would definitely return to this hotel! - Staff were great, friendly and helpful - Beds were very comfy - rooms and hotel very clean - location was brilliant - Decent breakfast Only issues (which are not an issue really) - Rooms could have had better pillows - we bought some with us as we knew hotels sometimes don't provide enough - Beware of a security deposit (I missed this in the terms and conditions so was my fault) - Photos of rooms on Expedia were not accurate to the room we had but room was lovely anyway!

I only spent one night with a friend. We had a brilliant breakfast the staff were very welcoming and friendly. The location was perfect for what we wanted that was to experience the night life around Mathew street. The car park was just across the road with reasonable rates given the discount from the hotel.i would certainly recommend this hotel

We chose this hotel based on its description as a luxury suite experience and the beautiful images shown online. Unfortunately, the reality of our stay fell far short of expectations. Upon arrival, we were moved to Room 301 after finding our first assigned room in poor condition. At first glance, Room 301 appeared slightly better, but it soon became clear that it was also in an unacceptable state: The bathroom floor was worn through to the floorboards, and the walls were peeling. The mirror was rusty, and overall the bathroom appeared neglected. When my son used the jacuzzi bath, dirty water and residue came out of the jets, leaving him feeling unwell. This clearly indicates that the bath had not been cleaned or maintained properly and posed a potential health risk. The sofa was ripped, the floor was stained and dirty, and the lighting in the room was poor. When we opened the curtains to let in some light, we discovered that the windows were covered in mould and grime, with an unpleasant view of what looked like a demolition site. In addition, we found that none of the bar pumps were working, and the bottled beers were warm, making it impossible to enjoy a simple drink during our stay. The following morning, we were given a sheet detailing breakfast options, which stated that fried or poached eggs could be provided on request. However, we were later informed these were not available, contradicting the hotel’s own information. Avoid!

An excellent hotel in a great location. Only 10 minutes walk from the station and 5 minutes walk to plenty of bars, pubs, restaurants and nightlife. The hotel also does a very good breakfast.
