「We arrived earlier than the 3pm check in time, but the staff worked hard to allow us into the room early. Upon return to our room after dinner, there was a terrible smell in the bathroom (as the extractor was blowing air in!), however Darrell noted the issue carefully for their maintenance team and moved us to another room immediately. Great service」

「This was our second stay at The Cumberland, excellent as before! We book a family room number 7, it’s very quiet with a rear view over the town, spacious, light and very cosy. I normally don’t pay a particular attention to toiletries but they are so good at The Cumberland so I had to google and order for my home. Hosts are wonderful, breakfast yummy and central location. They provide parking permit if you can find a spot near the hotel. We’ll be back!」

「Booked a single room with a shared bathroom. Very good price and was surprised with how good the room was. All the facilities you expect of a larger room fitted perfectly into a single. Excellent views accross the seafront and the centre of town and harbour on my doorstep. I will definately book the seascape again on my next adventure into weymouth.」

「Very convenient location in downtown Dorchester, good for walking trips around the town. Several museums and historical sites nearby. Very friendly, helpful staff. Nice restaurant for breakfast (no lunch or dinner service). Several restaurant very nearby, easy walk. HOWEVER, very tiny parking lot (accessible from a side street) which can accomodate a maximum of 9 small UK sized cars, so it is easy to find ot full. A large public parking lot is a couple blocks away, and it is possible to find...

Il personale è gentile e professionale, ci hanno trattato con molto riguardo facendoci sentire coccolati. La struttura è bellissima, soprattutto il giardino e la terrace. Le stanze sono arredate con cura, ci hanno anche offerto una stanza superiore senza supplemento perché avevano appena avuto una disdetta. Un soggiorno meraviglioso, spero di poter tornare. 」
