"Nice hotel. Room was clean. Staff were courteous. Location was good. Lots of restaurants and shopping options nearby. For the price breakfast should be included."
"Great location for restaurants, clean property. On arrival we're able to check-in early as our room was ready. Staff were very welcoming & shout out to Syed for prearranging our transportation to airport & storing our luggage"
"We stayed for one night and were happy with everything. Staff is very personable and made us feel respected and welcome. The room was clean, the beds & linens are lovely. We appreciated the amenities in our room.
The only downside was we weren’t told parking cost extra. After we left, I received an invoice for two days of parking @28.99 per day."
"The hotel is so well situated, pretty much in the centre of everything you could wish to visit with a theatre round the corner and plenty of restaurants, bars and cafes nearby as well as having easy access to the boardwalk and harbour area. The citadel is pretty much over the road and gives easy access to the Garrison grounds for festivals, concerts, etc. The tours we took (Anchor) picked us up and dropped us directly at the hotel.
We had a fantastic time - the included breakfast was substantial and set us up for the day. The hot choices included oats, scrambled egg or omelettes (alternate days), boiled eggs, hash browns and beans. Bacon and sausage were available at an extra charge but not pushed for sale. There was also yogurt (plain available on request), fruit, granola, muffins and bread or bagels for toasting.
Our room was spacious and immaculately clean, as well as well equipped for self-catering if we wanted to do so. Our housekeeper was very friendly and helpful and provided a kettle for us and extra bed linen/blanket on request.
All staff were very helpful and all went the extra mile - reception, restaurant, housekeeping. We felt well looked after
The rooftop seating area was a wonderful space to sit and chat/meet with other guests. The gym looked well-equipped and the sauna/hot tub area was lovely.
The building could do with a little updating but there was nothing that stood out as being poorly maintained/looked after. We would happily stay there again!"
