"We stayed here in July for one night and it was like being invited to a house party. The welcome could not have been friendlier. The accommodation was perfect and the little terrace was bathed with early evening sunshine, very pleasant. The Air con was very welcome later though. "Beautiful cottage just outside of town. Had everything we needed to stay comfortably and even cook our own breakfast. Hosts were gracious and conveyed everything we needed to know even though they spoke very little English and we speak NO French! No AC but we were comfortable with the fan even during a heat wave."

Our room was lovely from the space to the comfortable bed and the welcome decanted wine and fruit. The fan was a welcome bonus for the hot July weather, especially while we slept. I don't think I've ever felt so 'at home' away from home and the commitment and passion to making every guest feel very welcome is obvious. "Stone cold unheated room. Took 3 hours to warm up. Very old furnishings. Bathroom old and in need of a refit. Uncomfortable bed. Good breakfast. Very fresh and nice coffee. Very hard to find though."

"Unfortunately our stay was disappointing. On the advert it said dogs allowed but when we arrived we weren’t given the room advertised as there was a carpet on the floor. We were taken to an outside room which was very tired and old fashioned. We only stayed one night although booked for two. Probably much better in summer. The breakfast was very good but the dining room smelt very musty. Madame was very sweet - the hotel had been run by her parents for thirty years. It needs a little updating"
