Lovely little motel complex building back up after the floods. Proximity to the riverwalk makes for a peaceful stay, and easy stroll down to the main part of Casino.

Unfortunately, spilled coffee in the room, tried to clean it up, used bathroom mats. Rinsed the mats in sink. Thought i had done a good job. Manager rang me , told me i was an awful human being for spoilling his towels. He could not get coffee stains out of towels. Very abusive. Found out he charged my card 50$ for cleaning/ replacing two bathroom mats. Would have been happy to pay to replace towels, but seiously, what do you do when an accident occurs? I thought i was doing my best to clean place. The managers call to me was seriously abusive. He was sooo rude. Does he have the right to take $50 from my credit card without asking or telling me? He called me a horrible human being

The guy running the place is a real Aussie battler who is doing his best despite being left in the lurch by insurance companies after the flooding in 2022. As a result the motel is a little bit tired, but it's a great location for an overnight stay being within walking distance of all of the places to eat and right next to the riverside park.
