Very quaint setting. Large local home converted to a hotel. Owner's were extremely nice and accommodating. We found it far superior to the "usual" commercial hotel chains.

This is such a well run and well maintained hotel run by a family. The hotel is immaculate, and the staff members are incredibly helpful and friendly. There is a beach nearby and the walk to Cascais along the coast is simply wonderful — even late at night I felt safe walking it to and from town. Hope to return to the hotel again.

We were very impressed with Hotel Smart. While maintaining an old world atmosphere, the unit was very modern. Parking underground if needed, breakfast provided, rooms were very modern. We would definitely return.

Booked this stay to see the IronMan event in Cascais, it was just a 8-10 min Uber ride away, with a beautiful boardwalk as well (didn’t use it due to rain). It is a quaint lovely hotel that was just right for the short stay. I definitely recommend!

Lovely family run hotel - traditional estate converted to a simple but very pleasant hotel. Room was spacious with a nice sized bathroom, lots of light and very comfortable. Nice breakfast spread without excess and excellent location within walking distance to the boardwalk to Estoril and Cascais. Easy parking, and quiet neighborhood, and lovely garden/grounds. Overall a great stay and one to be repeated the next time I am in the area.
