I actually couldn't stay at the hotel, when I arrived they informed me at the reception that the hotel was full and that it must have been a mistake. I have been trying to claim back the money I have paid but no success since the hotel didn't provide me with any prove of it. I would.like to get my money back since I paid for a service that I couldn't receive! Please contact the hotel and inform me of the procedure to get a refund!

This was a last minute booking when our flight was changed so we only stayed for one night. We weren't expecting too much after reading the reviews but I have to say it surpassed our expectations. The staff were friendly and helpful on reception. We had 2 rooms between our group and both rooms were clean and well maintained. The hotel is really conveniently located with just a 15 minute walk into the centre so we were able to explore Lisbon while we were there.

Great location. Friendly staff. Lobby nice enough. Breakfast reasonable. The carpet situation in the room was terrible, very frayed. Not sure of cleanliness. The halls smell rank, again probably the old carpets. They absolutely nreed to get rid of them. It looks nice when you see the picture of the lobby, but the rest of the place looks and feels very run down. Bed though vdry comfortable and clsan.

A very enjoyable place to stay
The service we received from the moment we arrived was excellent. The staff on reception were helpful, informative, friendly and very pleasant. We had an excellent room which actually looked like the pictures on your website pages. The bathroom was a bit cramped and the shower fixture was broken but these were small problems. The bed was very comfortable and there was a minibar for keeping water cool, which was useful. Breakfast was a little unimaginative but here again the service was friendly and efficient and the rolls were fresh. The hotel itself is near a metro station, just down the hill from a superb and reasonable Italian restaurant and near a park. All in all, a good place to stay.

Hotel flamingo was comfortable and clean and located great with bars and restaurants close by, my only problems was the heat of the rooms, mainly because the bathroom was like a Sauna it's very uncomfortable being in there too long especially when the hairdryer is in there too. Another problem was the WI-FI was down for 4 of our 5 day stay, of course this is not the fault of the hotel but we would have liked to be compensated in some way for using our personal DATA on our mobiles.

The smell in my room was absolutely horrible. It was coming from the bathroom, probably from the sink. The carpet was very dirty. The location is great. The staff at the front desk was nice. Also they charged me 8 euros for 2 minutes phone call within Lisbon to confirm my shuttle pickup. I think this kind of service should be free for the guests. Definitely not coming back to this hotel.

This property is old and outdated. The tub is nasty and dirty. The bed are small and hard. The entire hotel smells like a funeral home. Please don’t stay here. The staff was very helpful and professional. Please don’t stay here you will not be satisfied.

Good for price and location
For price and location, this is very good. A very short walk to some excellent areas of Lisbon namely Principe Real which has the most incredible views of the city. Also, we were catching a flight the next morning and this hotel is a quick and cheap Uber rider away. The staff was incredibly nice and helpful. The room is basic but clean. The bed was comfortable enough.

Location is just excellent! People are very friendky and ready to go extra mile for their guests. Rooms are small, clean, with all that a guests needs. The hotel is located on very busy street, and st night it gets loud, but the windoes have exemptional sound isolation. Internet was very weak, essentially unusable.

Hotel is located close to main metro stop. Lisbon is hilly and this hotel is on a hill which may be a problem to some. Staff was very friendly, they even tried to help me book a bus ticket on their communal pc after my phone was stolen. Wifi was good. My single room had a balcony which is always nice. Would stay again.

Highly recommended for its fantastically helpful staff and proximity to the sites of Lisbon. Basic but very comfortable and exceptionally friendly, perfect if you plan to be out all day and night, exploring this beautiful city. And who wouldn’t?! Great, very affordable place to stay.

I would make a return visit to this hotel
So close to Marques Pombal Metro, this little hotel is ideal for the practical traveler. It is true the hotel lobby is not glamorous, but the staff more than compensate with their gracious service. English is spoken. The rooms are fresh, meticulously clean and attractive. Don't miss the Sunday open air crafts market on the Avenida Park.

Room looks old more like an Inn rather than a hotel. Carpet needs a replacement. Lie down on the bed and got itch throughout body and not sure if its bed bugs. Even the linen has stain. Ended up sleep on the floor with bath towel. The shower tub floor has cracks and sharp edges. Ask for other room instead of Room 606. The only thing I like is the balcony and clean towels and bathroom. Its decent if you need a place to sleep and shower. Breakfast is simple

Flamingo is just ok.

A modest hotel close to the main square where tourist buses depart. There are few eating places nearby, and it is 20 min. walk away from downtown. Staff is kind and very helpful. In-roomk wifi works well. Our room was dark, quite cramped, hot and humid - even when the weather was chilly outside. Better prefer one of the hotels in downtown.

The hotel is in center. But it's to old. I was to my family, and there isn't a ramp to go to elevators. The breakfast is to poor, without fruits.

Hotel is within easy walking distance to a supermarket ( a godsend), restaurants and the Metro. Room was clean, bed comfortable and the area is quiet! Some front desk speak English. Small breakfast buffet is included. Room is comfortable but the bathroom was really small! 1 small older style elevator. Watch out for the glass doors in the lobby! I would recommend

I felt that the receptionist could have been more welcoming especially as we arrived late evening and it was the first contact. The room overall was ok, but facilities could easily be improved by 1. allowing more free toiletries each day (a small container of multiple use for each person during the August heat is unrealistic) 2. giving good instructions on using the air conditioner 3. giving the free kettle and cups automatically and replacing dirty cups each day too 4. dusting thoroughly Bruno was very helpful and was the star for us. Approachable and friendly were his characteristics. The lift is small, the rooms are ok for what you pay and a change in breakfast choice during the week would have been great too...theres only so much ham and cheese a person can enjoy day after day. Location was good for metro tho and their taxi service was ok tho on one occasion, the driver took the mickey, taking us the long route and costing us more than necessary...shame on him. overall, this is ok for the money we paid

The hotel is centrally located, and within walking distance to many attractions. It's a bit dated but reasonably clean. The staff were helpful. We drove, so the garage next door for 11 Euro a day really helped. For the price, and location, you really can't beat that.

The hotel was very reasonable for the price and the staff were friendly and helpful. The location is a bit out of the way of the main attractions, but taxis are cheap and plentiful. Room was pretty basic and exceptionally hot, although other guests in our party didn't have that problem.

The check in at the Flamingo was effective and efficient. I had a second floor, double room for single occupancy. The view was nothing special over the roof tops and no balcony but for me a hotel room is for sleepng and rest after exporation. It had a mini-bar , fridge, air con and the ensuite, if a little on the small side, was clean and fully functional.' The breakfast was very basic but again for me I don't travel abroad for full English in every sense of the term. The staff were helpful, especially for the hop on and off buses which start and terminate in the Marques de Pombal square 5 minutes walk from the hotel. The hote location was about a mile from 'all the action' but again for me ideal. No lounge bar as advertised.
