stay in superior room. Room is clean and price reasonable. At mountain top, take tram 28 and the stop is near to the hotel. Always full on Sunday, better to book in advance.

The hotel was spotless and well-maintained. The quiet location in Alfama was well-located, within easy walking distance of the castle, church of Sao Vicente, Cathedral, church of St. Anthony’s birthplace, Fado Museum, beautiful and panoramic viewpoints overlooking the city and Tagus river. and many fantastic restaurants (including those offering Fado music). The 24/7 staff was friendly, spoke fluent English, and extremely helpful in arranging tours or restaurant reservations. The breakfast buffets were excellent. The hotel is within easy (downhill) walking distance of the cruise terminal.

Wonderful little gem of a hotel within walking distance to restaurants and shops. The staff was amazing and helped arrange a car for us to the airport and gave an awesome dinner recommendation at Altar, 5 minutes away. Our WiFi didn’t work in the room but it wasn’t a problem. The room was a spacious 2 story room with sofa bed downstairs. Keep that in mind when booking as the bathroom is downstairs and the stairs are narrow and could be tricky in the dark, there are single story rooms available as well.

Personnel très sympathique, hébergement très propre et cours arrière agréable. Par contre, je ne recommande pas de voyager avec un groupe de trois voyageurs. Le troisième lit ajouté est très peu confortable, il manque de serviettes/papiers de toilette. La navette a oubliée de venir nous chercher à l'aéroport, mais l'hôtel a su rattraper le soucis en nous offrant un déjeuner gratuit.

We had a very nice stay at this property. Well maintained facility, clean, walkable and convenient to public transportation, but its most valuable asset is the staff, who made us feel at home, like a family. Sure will recommend to friends and relatives. Thanks!

The property was in the heart of Lisbon which was convenient when looking for sites to see or restaurants to eat at. There was no parking which was fine since we did not have a car. We did have to walk a short distance to meet our tour guides since they could not get to the hotel to pick us up. The staff was friendly and the paid breakfast was good. We had an issue with the shower not draining which resulted in a small flood but easily cleaned up. We had to unclog the hair from the drain ourselves in order for the shower to work properly.

Fijne verwelkoming. We kwamen vroeg aan en de kamer was nog niet klaar. Toen we in de namiddag terugkeerden, stond de bagage reeds in de kamer. Leuke plus! De kamer is naar de kleine kant, weinig plaats om je valies te zetten. Ook de badkamer is smal. De patio mocht wat opgefleurd worden met bloemen, nu ligt die er wat triestig bij. Het is nochtans fijn om even buiten te kunnen zitten na het ontbijt. Het ontbijt is beperkt, op zich wel alles wat je nodig hebt maar geen extra’s. Alles in beschouwing genomen, vind ik het hotel eerder naar de prijzige kant voor wat je krijgt.
