The staff here we're incredibly friendly, welcoming and helpful. We had a really great stay, great breakfast, comfortable clean rooms and a safe feeling with easy check in/check out and ability to store our bags before/after check in/out times which was so helpful. It is a busy, noisy neighborhood into the evening but absolutely perfect for easy walking and metro access in Lisbon.

Great little gem!

Cozy and comfy hostel. Nice rooms, clean bathrooms. The staf were fantastic, and very friendly and helpful. The free breakfast was outstanding, and better than most breakfasts you would have to pay for! Overall fantastic expereince!

Great humble hotel-hostel

Great place with wonderful staff, particular thinks to the wonderful Frida who was always friendly & helpful, and Beta who ran the place well with a great friendly work ethic and some interesting stories. Keep up the great work everyone!

Such a lovely staff! The location is great. We were there during a heatwave on the third floor. It was a bit loud with the windows open (but such a lovely ambiance). It was too hot to have the windows closed.

Only come here if you want to party! The street and area is a huge party area. Bass will be thumping well into the night! It's safe, on a hill, and the staff were nice. Pretty comfortable beds, clean linens, and great staff. The breakfast is nice to have.

The breakfast was fantastic, don't miss it like I did until my last day. The place is spotlessly clean. Convenient location, plenty of restaurants etc in the vicinity and close to all public transport. The room was a bit stuffy even with the fan provided. Overall a great stay, would definitely stay again.

Great spot! The breakfast is so good. No a/c though so the rooms are hot. They do give you a little fan but you have to angle it to hit you directly to be comfortable. Bathrooms are clean! Lots of stairs though.

Fabulous! Location was bang on, walked out at night right into the hottest spot in town. The team are Irish/American and all so friendly. The breakfast was next level, really big portions and great variety made to order. Free coffee machine all day and shared kitchen space. Only downside was not enough furniture/storage space in the room but amazing value. Highly recommend

Central stay in Lisbon

Solo room with shared bathroom. I stayed in two different rooms as I cut my stay in two. One was bigger that the other one, but globally good and clean. Area a bit noisy at nigh because of being the night district, but on the 4th floor, noise is softer. Excellent breakfast. You have to be on time for the check in otherwise you wont be able to get your room. Excellent location close to everything.

The room and bathroom were clean. The staff were friendly but not professional. I asked about the area and restaurants, but they couldn’t answer anything. This hostel is on the street where there are restaurants and bars, so it’s so noisy until late night.

Great location to walk everywhere. It was my first time staying in a hostel/guesthouse and I was pleasantly surprised. It is very noisy at night, however, once I closed the window and turned on the fan, it did not bother me. Very nice breakfast is available in he mornings with coffee/tea machine and water. I was worried about sharing a bathroom, but they were clean and they were always open, I never had to wait.

Staff were great, and breakfast was pretty good too! Great location, but I'd only advise if you are fit and able. Lots of stairs and steep roads around. Room was great, bed good and clean. The shared bathroom was ok too. Some noise but nothing some ear plugs couldn't solve. Weather was mid 20s and did not have issues with it at night. Just keep the shutter closed during the day!

The property was not well marked and hard to find at first. But the location was great concept was good layout. Only complaint is how hotttt the rooms were with no AC.

Clean and friendly hostel

Cleanliness: 100% The cleanliness at the hostel is excellent. However, the breakfast is very limited. Instead of a buffet, two staff members will prepare a breakfast plate for you; that’s it. It’s important not to set high expectations for the breakfast. It would be great if there were closets in the rooms to store bags and hang clothes. Overall, a clean and well-maintained hostel, though improvements in the breakfast offering and room amenities like closets would be appreciated.

Great breakfast & Location!

I arrived in the dark and it was a little hard to find because there is no obvious signage. I had to ask for help at a local restaurant. Also - Ubers cannot access the streets around the hostel so you might have to walk and it’s challenging with cobbled streets and luggage. The location is great and breakfast is fantastic. I had a private room but it was hard to relax or sleep in because the cleaning staff were VERY loud. The other guests were older and kept to themselves. Overall good value.

My towel was very wet and only one change in a week because I asked them. In.second the 1st of juanary no one breakfast in the morning ( 9h15 ). No one service for cleaning in my room during one week.

Dirty, cold and noisy

This place is dirty and run by backpackers to keep cost low. I paid for heating (was there in january and temp was celsius 6 degrees at night and 16 in the day) got my heater after 1 day and it worked for 1 hour at a time so not much sleeping since I woke up because of cold and had to reset it.. breakfast was a joke and didnt get served on new years day probably because someone drank too much. Crap place in an fado restaurant neighbourhood so if youre looking for a really cheap, dirty, noisy place. Bingo!
