Jinglai hotel located right beside the Nanjing East road, with many local food and shops nearby. Very easy access to the metro as well. We stayed in Shanghai for 3 nights, I greatly appreciated the washer and dryer on site for all of our travel laundries.
The front desk people are all so lovely and helpful! They always greet you with beautiful smiles and willing to help out with all your questions.
I would highly recommend this place :)!

We absolutely loved at stay at Chateau Star, it was more then what we expected. Breakfast buffet was exceptional. Staff were friendly and helped as much as they could given language barrier, really only had 1 staff member who spoke English which was great as we weren't proficient with the translation apps immediately. Rooms were clean and we were super comfortable. There were plenty of restaurants and cafes, along with sone corner stores a short walk away. We will definitely be staying there again.
