Appreciated the Hospitality
We appreciated having the option of a room with two queen beds and a sofa bed. The room was clean and the beds were extremely comfortable. We also appreciated the extra touches of hospitality - cookies, water, newspapers in the lobby along with a small goody-bag upon departure.

We occasionally visit a parent who lives in the Autumn Woods 55 community nearby, and because we were traveling with our two dogs we tried MainStay for the first time and will never stay anywhere else when we need a hotel in Lincoln. That MainStay has rooms designated for people traveling with dogs is a bonus and greatly appreciated. But we would stay here again even without our dogs, but the hotel was clean, quiet, and the room spacious. Our suite had little kitchenette area with two stove burners, a microwave, dishwasher, 3/4 size refrigerator/freezer, 4 cup coffee maker, and cupboards with plates and silverware. Highly recommend, especially for travelers with dogs. If you are traveling with a dog and make your reservation on-line, you should contact the hotel directly by phone or email to let them know about your dog so that they can assign you to a dog-friendly room.

The staff was very friendly and the hotel was fabulously decorated with tons of Nebraska Huskers decor. The breakfast options were great. The hotel room was very clean and even had a full sized fridge with a stovetop for cooking along with cooking and eating utensils. The only negative during our stay was the hot tub was out of service due to a malfunction. This was not the hotel or staffs fault but was kind of a downer since I reserved the hotel for the hot tub. But otherwise the stay was fantastic and loved the Nebraska themed decor. For those Nebraska fans, the hotel has a paid option to ride the ‘red bus’ as in Nebraska bus from nearby the hotel directly to the front of the stadium and back to near the hotel after the game.

Great stay while we were in Lincoln for the buskers game! They even had transportation to the stadium. Nice, clean & spacious rooms. Excellent breakfast options! Would definitely stay here again!

So disappointing that I splurged and paid so much for this stay. This hotel should have been $100 cheaper. No lights in the parking lot. All the hotel was dimly lit and smelled funny. Hair all in the bed and bathroom. Stains on the chairs and sides of the couch. Will not return. There are better places to stay in Lincoln for cheaper.

Thank you for bringing those issues to our attention, we recently had our overhead signs replaced and it seems that the timer for the lights was not set correctly. We have corrected this issue and will also work with housekeeping to tackle any odd smells in the hotel. We do hope that you would offer us another chance to make this right. Pleasant stay.
Friendly staff. Decent breakfast. Quiet rooms. Hot tub was hot. I think my only critique would be the lack of shampoo/conditioner. There was one little bottle that was meant to be both but that’s not how shampoo and conditioner work.

Love the lack of fee for a pet. Front desk person was super friendly and helpful. Breakfast was fully stocked. Room was clean and comfortable. Lots of dining options around. High school is next door if you need to run or have a dog walk.
