「Our family stayed for a second time at the Kukula Lodge and it again exceeded expectations. The owners and staff are friendly and helpful, the grounds are extremely well-kept, rooms are clean and comfortable, breakfast is plentiful and delicious . . . and the lodge is just a few minutes' walk to the beach. To top it off, the price is very reasonable- what more could you want? It was truly a pleasure to stay at Kukula Lodge and we will certainly be back!」

「We had 4 HUGE roaches in our room when we arrived! My husband had to kill them; just so we could sleep & feel comfortable-still was hard bc we were wondering if more would come out at night & crawl all over us while sleeping! Next night we had a lizard on our pillows before bedtime. Plus; safety wise we had No glass on the windows had to sleep with only screens on windows! Only a ceiling fan; as they don’t offer air conditioning. The walking trail on the property is really run down & full of...

Raft in and out via the Pacuare river and be completely enveloped by the forest and river in the middle of nowhere while having high level meals breakfast, lunch and dinner, incredible adventure programs like zip lining through the canopy and repelling down little waterfall. 「I have never received better customer service than at Miss Junie’s. Nory and her staff are attentive and committed to hospitality. The rooms are very clean. The building and grounds are beautiful and old, worn by time, but with character. The afternoon ocean breeze is cooling and the beach is shaded in the late afternoon. There are old trees on the grounds where iguanas live and macaws visit. The property is also adjacent to the town and the river, and a short walk from the turtle...

「Although this place is very basic, with essebtially no electricity or service and we werent able to complete the second half pf our rafting due to heavy rains, wr loved this place. It was exactly what we expected. We stayed two nights, and brought snacks and just took in nature. The two waterfalls we were taken to were awesome,. Especially day 2. So many beautiful bird's.
