Giverney Gem! Florence made us very welcome in her llovey home very close to Monet’s Garden. There was a nice guest area to play pool. Games or just relax. Her breakfast was phenomenal. She set such a pretty tablle.

Coulours du temp bed and breakfast

Our stay at colors du temp was exactly what we needed after a long day of traveling from the u.s. and a day of driving and sightseeing! The hosts were very friendly and helpful and didn’t mind our lack of French language. We had the top floor of the house to ourselves, they had many amenities that unfortunately we were too tired to use. Florence helped order a pizza for dinner and provided a lovely breakfast. A beautiful place to stay when in the Giverny area.

I stayed at this property when I spent the weekend visiting Monet’s Gardens in Giverny. The owner was VERY welcoming and anything that I needed was already available in my room. Breakfast was perfect and ready when I came out of my room. Parking was plentiful in the back and it’s gated, so there were no worries. Giverny was about a ten minute drive from the hotel, and Vernon is also nearby for visiting the Old Mill and additional restaurant options. I highly recommend staying here!

This marvelous property is the perfect spot to stay for a visit to Giverny. Florence, our host, has really thought of everything to make you feel like you are at home, only better. The room and gorgeous bathroom with soak tub and shower is fitted out with every amenity including robes, slippers , towel heater and makeup mirror Ruth outside the door are a fridge with beverages as well as coffee and tea and delicious madeleines. And the breakfast buffet was delicious and with eggs made to order. She truly has merited her “Exceptional “ rating.

Lovely B&B near Giverny

Fantastic B&B just 5-10 min from Giverny (and a much better choice to not be in Tourist Central). The property is run by a husband and wife who live on site. Just three guest rooms, and two that share a bath are rented together - that's what my girlfriend and rented. The bathroom is huge and absolutely stunningly remodeled. One of the rooms is right next to the bath, the other is a bit down the hall. Nice breakfast including soft boiled eggs by request. Rooms are up one flight of stairs. Free parking in back of the house. I can't recommend this place highly enough!

Beautiful B&B Near the Monet Cottage

Florence Sery, the proprietor of Couleurs du temps près Giverny was exceptionally hospitable and helpful, This is a very charming B&B, well placed to enhance a visit to the Monet Cottage. Mme, Sery met us upon check in, and even made reservations for us at a local - and outstanding and very reasonably priced - restaurant. The inn itself is spacious, quiet, and immaculately clean. Our schedule only allowed a one-night stay, but additional nights here would have been most enjoyable, They would certainly provide a glimpse of the peaceful village setting experienced by Claude Monet.

We loved our stay in the Couleurs du Temps - Près Giverny. Our family of 4 had the top floor all to our selves - had the 2 bedrooms, both spacious and bathroom for just us. Very clean and homey - spa was available to use (but didn't at this time) and billiard was fun to play while relaxing at night. The attention to detail of the decor was impressive with parking of our rental car at the back. The hostess, Florence and husband Jean-Marc were very nice. We appreciate being allowed to check in when we arrived early from our drive from Bayeux. Enjoyed their beautiful backyard with the fishpond. Appreciated the home-made breakfast included. With A/C that helped with our comfort in the hot summer day this month in France. Very close to the the Monet garden we visited on this trip. Overall - an excellent accommodation!!!
