The People - Lille - Hostel
Spacious bunk bed, personal storage for a backpack (not for suitcases). Didn't try bar but it was very busy. Ideally situated in the heart of Lille old town and paid parking until 7pm on the doorstep of hostel.

Hotel Lille Europe
Very convenientlocation and Pleasant enough building, but the bed was extremely uncomfortable and the room was very noisy from the outside traffic. I would not stay here again even though the staff and bathroom were both great.
