The establishment is an older building and with this comes thin walls, outdated fixtures and other bits but overall it was a comfortable stay. The building had a wonderful charm and had a pub on one side that became lively in the evening and yes, cause some noise but being from the city, nothing that would cause me not to be able...

"lovely weekend at the Star. it’s a pub and a busy one at that with rooms. That said the accommodation is clean and comfortable and offers good value for money. it is well patronised for meals by the locals. staff were pleasant and helpful. Good base for weekends"

"We came from Australia to be central to family for 6 nights. This amazing inn felt like home and the staff were so lovely and welcoming along with the food being amazing. Our room was very cosy and felt relaxing after long days out. I would stay here again as I have never felt so relaxed after a long flight from the Uk! Julie the landlady is so kind and caring looking after her guests! 100/10! Highly recommend!"
