「Had a brilliant few nights at The Weary Friar. We stayed in The Friar’s Rest, which is a separate cottage just next to the pub. Really peaceful and quiet — perfect for switching off. The cottage was spotless, well looked after, and had everything we needed, including a proper kitchen (though we mostly ate at the pub!). 「Tucked away in a quiet little corner of the bay I wasnt sure what to expect. The inn is lovely, clean and welcoming. The staff were very friendly, and couldnt have been more helpful. 「Booked a valley castle room w king bed for one night in late Sep. Room was very clean with comfy n up to date decor. Room was big enough and soundproof quality was good. Big garden surrounded hotel n we took a pleasant walk the next day. Should have stayed for one or two nights so as to enjoy swimming pool and other facilities. The historical building was well maintained. Very pleasant stay 」

「We booked a family suite which is lovely - very modern and tastefully decorated. A lovely tea/coffee area and bottles of water weee supplied. Both bedrooms have patio doors opening out onto outside area. The views are amazing and it is just so peaceful and quiet. Breakfast was amazing - THE BEST bacon!! Would highly recommend this place - ideal for walkers. 」
