"This beautiful heritage hotel is in a spectacular location and the history is just wonderful. The hotel however requires money spending on it, especially the rooms and restaurants. The spa that you can book via the hotel was amazing and would definitely recommend. "

"The ac did not keep the room cool, kind of warm though out the stay. It was difficult getting up and down the steps with my luggage, and I did use the lift. Staff, food, wine, and location were outstanding!"

"Great little find in a convenient location for our overnight stay. Our only real issue was that we didn’t have a fridge in the room to keep drinks cool, but there was a fridge available downstairs in the communal area with milk for tea and coffee etc. Very cute library with hundreds of DVDs to watch in any downtime! "The property location is good with shops nearby. But the property condition was very poor with leakage in the bathroom, bed rugged with a sagging mattress so much so that my daughter now has a sore back due to sleeping in that. The property did not have a drinking water fountain anywhere and the only option was to fill water from the bathroom. The staff were however very warm and were doing their best to help. "
