Great stay

Great hotel with wonderful staff in a beautiful place

Have not been impressed by a hotel in a long time. Not the fanciest place, but they do everything very well across the board. I called for a late check in: usually at small places they will leave the keys out. The person stayed at the front desk until 10pm and was cheery and nice when we came. We booked online as non-refundable, but they did not charge the card until the day later since they said it was so late, and wanted to make sure all was well with our stay before we pay the...

Grear dpa with thermal water, clean, amazing views, private at the edge of town. Restaurant closed as many of the properties in the area due to economic downturn , but doesn’t matter, many restaurants around

The best thing about the property was the friendly staff. We came for a music festival and the front desk clerk helped us make reservations at a restaurant where music was playing. Then the proprietress was super helpful with helping us locate the bus stop and other things. Very friendly.

We couldn't have found a better fit for our family of 3 on our visit to Switzerland. Bruna at the front desk was truly the most amazing hostess to check us in, give us clarity on parking in town, share courtesy tram passes and remind us how good the breakfast is in the kitchen nook! Her personality and smile was out of this world!!! We did dinner in the restaurant also and it too was amazing! The fresh squeezed orange juice machine blew my mind and made the courtesy breakfast that much more...

Parking is in the front of the hotel, good size room, mountain view, balcony, good value for the money.

Our room had a lovely view of the mountain massif above Leukerbad, The room was very clean, everything was well organized and thought-out.

It is our fourth time and every single one has been really good 😀

The hotel has thermal baths: during Covid only outdoor pool with 36 degrees water temperature available. It was amazing to swim in that pool while a heavy snowfall. We enjoyed the village where the hotel is located, it’s situated at about 1500 meters above sea level, so you have a great view and lots of snow during the season. Though get prepared for windy roads to get to the village: drive carefully as those can be slippery. Breakfast buffet was of good quality and decent variety. A family of 4...

We did enjoy our stay. Everything was perfect: breakfast was delicious, the rooms were very clean, the staff was very helpful and polite, surroundings were beautiful.

The hotel was beautiful, offering spectacular views with windows all around, a balcony and a convenient location with a grocery store right downstairs. The room was exceptionally clean, beautifully designed, and featured a modern mountain-inspired style that created a cozy yet luxurious atmosphere.

Very good

The service was impeccable. Staff was very friendly .

Esther’s Guesthouse is perfectly situated in Gimmelwald and very close to the lift. The hosts are very welcoming and have a sweet kiddo that played with my kids on the playground while we stayed there. The village is charming and quiet. It’s a perfect family retreat.
