"This hotel is located about 20 minutes from Amboise on a large piece of property! It has an old well kept main building where breakfast and dinner are offered along with rooms. We stayed in the garden suites * Mimoasa and it was spacious with a king size bed. A fridge would have been nice as would a safe but apparently they are being included in the upgrade. Given that there is no convenience store or grocery near by the fridge would be very useful. The pool was lovely and we played golf on the putting green which was adjacent to the property which was so much fun:) Jordan was very helpful in assisting with anything that you needed."

"Charming chateau — postcard of a stay in Loire Valley at a very reasonable price. Lovely atmosphere, tranquil property with plenty of space to relax and enjoy the countryside. Lots of charm. Staff was attentive and helpful. Dined at the restaurant one evening— a very good price for quality for the prefix meal. Location was perfect for day trips to various Chateaus."

"Our three-night stay at Château de Nazelles in Amboise was truly an unforgettable experience! 🇫🇷 What makes this château so unique is that we actually stayed in a cave room carved into the hillside—a one-of-a-kind experience that felt like stepping back in time. Our room had its own private hot tub and sauna, making the combination of historic charm and modern comfort absolutely perfect. The château dates back to the 1500s, and staying here gave us the feeling of literally living in another era. From the beautifully maintained grounds to the incredible historic setting, every detail made the experience special. We also really appreciated how environmentally conscious the property is. The staff were exceptionally helpful, friendly, and responsive throughout our stay. We loved the honor system, which gave the property such a warm, relaxed, and personal feel. Another favorite was the upper-level area where we could sit, relax, and take in the beautiful views of the surrounding area. This was so much more than just a place to stay—it was an experience that felt like going back in time, while still enjoying wonderful modern amenities. We absolutely loved our stay and would return in a heartbeat. If you’re visiting the Loire Valley and looking for something truly unique, Château de Nazelles is a gem! ❤️🇫🇷"

"Second stay here. 2 nights on the way from Calais to Perigord. Lovely rooms, food and drink. Not cheap but worth it. AC very welcome especially for our ageing Labrador! Pool really good. Not much to do in the village but plenty nearby."
