"Off the bat, it’s an old hotel. The lobby gives it away even if the exterior doesn’t. There’s definitely an air of the Shining in the lobby, But they are remodeling. You can tell when you enter the room. I love the color they chose for the bathroom! I love butter yellow! And they use real tiles, not fiberglass stuff. The shower gave strong sprays so showers in the morning was a treat. I chose the lowest rate room so the room was in the smaller side, but the sheets were super crisp and the mattress was better than any I’ve slept on. The pillows are fluffy and firm. Housekeeping gave me new towels everyday and they remade my bed so I come back to crisp made bed. The lobby staffs were helpful too! The hotel is centrally located to restaurants and shops. I really enjoyed my stay here!"

"There is no local number to call the hotel directly, so this review is less about interaction with actual hotel staff and more about Wyndham staff. You can only connect with Wyndham staff for any questions about this hotel. I called twice and twice was told there was no shuttle from the ferry terminal or the airport for this hotel. After engaging an Uber from the ferry terminal, we pulled up to the hotel at the same time as the hotel's shuttle from the ferry. There are some maintenance issues with this hotel, the toilet in my room was not secured to the floor properly and wobbled quite a bit. A wrapped soap had been dropped in the toilet and left there. The towel/soap wrap left on the tub was damp, which made me wonder if it had been used for something or just put down too quickly before the tub was dry. The staff are trying, but it doesn't look like Wyndham is giving them much help."

"The staff is more friend or family than staff"

"This property is our go to location when visiting family in Juneau. The rooms are clean and conveniently located to Fred Meyer and Safeway and the airport. Just a short drive to downtown in one direction and to the Valley and Auke Bay in the other direction. We’ve never been concerned with safety and there is sufficient parking close to the entrance. "

"The hotel was clean and a nice condition, but beginning to show its age a little bit. The bathroom was clean with plenty of hot water. Bed was comfortable. I recall this a good standard hotel, but not luxurious."

"My husband and I stayed three nights and our stay was very nice. Great staff, helpful always with a sense of humor. The location of the hotel, close to historic downtown and on the waterfront was very handy. We could walk to go shopping and restaurants. I would recommend this hotel to anyone and we will stay here again😊"
