Great value for the price--nothing fancy, but clean and well maintained. The location is great for those who want a central spot in Amsterdam. No included breakfast or coffee/tea, but we didn't have a problem going nearby to find it.

The pros: location is perfect, facing a canal and next to charming Jordaan and nice restaurants. Also less than 20 min walk from the centraal station. Some restaurants like La Perla (pizza), de Benhalmel (nice upscale), Long Pura (Indonesian), Anne Frank House and boat rides are all a short walk from the hotel. Breakfast opens at 7 and there’s a server who takes the order and brings the food. Not a buffet. Keep this in mind if you have an early morning activity, train to catch etc. allow some time. Breakfast has a variety of items like eggs, crepes, cheese and pastries.
