"The Shaker Mill Inn is located in West Stockbridge so it is away from the dense tourist traffic in Stockbridge, but is located with easy access to Tanglewood, Stockbridge, Norman Rockwell Museum, and I90 and the rural Berkshires. The garden was wonderful with many flowers in bloom—very pretty. The breakfasts were tasty. "Clean, adequate, and centrally located with easy access to Tanglewood. Front desk staff seemed over-worked with a lot of distractions."

"The room, and everything in it, was clean, functional and well maintained. The two nights stay was very good. The building, and specifically the door and its handle-lock system can use some facelift. Still, this did not affect our satisfaction from the stay. However, we did not get the courtesy expected during check-in at a lodging place. The person at the counter didn't seem to care much if we are there or not. We were left with some bitter taste."
