"I booked a room with fireplace. I checked in and no one mentioned anything at check in about fireplace. When I went to room (their best room on site) the fireplace was not working. I went to front desk immediately and told them it was not working. Woman behind desk said "yes, we know", She did not offer a different room and I told her it was the only request I had when booking a room request. If I had known the fireplace was not working, and your lodge did not have a room with one (it was advertised as having one in this room), then I would have chosen a different lodge down the street to spend my special weekend. "

"Our stay was unfortunately cut short due to a family emergency. However, we absolutely loved the property. The refurbishing of the town hall was expertly done and very attractive. The bed was super comfortable (I believe the mattress was the same type as we have at home). If we ever make it to Lead in the future, we will be staying here. Also the partnership shared with the Stampmill restaurant made for convenient, friendly and delicious dinning! We loved it!"
